Who Can It Be Now? Colin Hay, That’s Who! at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts on Thu., April 9, at 7:30 PM

CERRITOS, CA – Who Can It Be Now? Colin Hay of Men at Work fame, that’s who. The Grammy winner brings his acoustic band tour to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) on Thursday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $50 and are available on cerritoscenter.com.

COLIN HAY became a household name as the frontman for the Grammy-winning 1980s Pop sensation Men at Work, which sold more than 30 million records worldwide and rocked music charts with the hits Down Under, Overkill, It’s a Mistake, Be Good Johnny, and Who Can It Be Now?, which launched the band from Australia into music history’s stratosphere.

After the group disbanded, Hay released his solo debut, Looking for Jack, featuring Herbie Hancock on the title track. In a musical career that has extended more than 40 years, Hay has recorded 15 critically acclaimed studio albums and toured internationally with Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band. Rolling Stone praised Hay’s “witty, hooky pop” tunes while NPR’s World Café lauded his “distinctive voice.” Glide Magazine raved: “Hay has managed that rare pivot, segueing nearly seamlessly from 1980s New Wave ... to being a prolific solo artist, writing some of the best songs of his career decades later.”

Hay’s Man @ Work Volume 2, the sequel to his 2003 bestseller Man @ Work, offers fans an impeccable set of favorites from across his rich catalog, including Men at Work classics, solo album highlights, and new material. With a reputation as a gifted raconteur with serious comedy chops, audiences can also expect some tales. “This guy is a natural storyteller,” hailed Washington’s The Spokesman Review.
