If you like timeless gems – think Africa’s Toto, Steely Dan’s Reelin’ in the Years, Hall & Oates’ Rich Girl, the Bee Gees’ How Deep Is Your Love, Christopher Cross’ Ride Like the Wind, and Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville – then it’s full steam ahead with YÄCHTLEY CRËW! The seven-piece SoCal band that burst onto the club scene in 2017 and caught the attention of Buffett, who signed the group to his own Mailboat label, is dropping anchor with a load of hits laced with nostalgia. Known as the “Titans of Soft Rock,” the nautical-themed hitmakers navigate the high seas of the ’70s and ’80s with pitch-perfect harmonies, shipshape style, and enough groove to make the whole dock rock. From bow to stern, this ensemble steers audiences through a tide of breezy classics and singalong anthems.

Yächtley Crëw includes new lead vocalist Ian Ward (Captain Ian), drummer Rob Jones (Sailor Hawkins), bassist Chaz Ruiz (Baba Buoy), guitarist Thomas Gardner Jr. (Tommy Buoy), backing vocalist Curt Clendenin (Stoney Shores), saxophone/flutist Paul Pate (Pauly Shores), and keyboardist Matt Grossman (Matthew McDonald). The band’s albums include Seas the Day; the holiday collection Seas and Greetings; and Seas the Night, featuring The Pain of Losing You, a song that landed on the Top 15 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart.
