CCPA Presents Vitamin String Quartet: Featuring Music From Bridgerton on Sat., February 3, 8:00 PM
CERRITOS, CA – One of the most popular string ensembles in the world, Vitamin String Quartet (VSQ) performs hits from Netflix’s smash series Bridgerton, along with other VSQ favorites, in this spellbinding mash-up of the modern and classical music worlds at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) on Saturday, February 3, 8:00 PM. Tickets are $49.
Since the project’s start in 1999, VSQ’s “atmospheric hits have made classical versions of pop music cool,” raves the New York Observer, by producing cutting-edge string renditions of a highly eclectic mix of artists, thus erasing boundaries between Classical, Dance, Hip-Hop, Rock, and Pop. In this evening FEATURING MUSIC FROM BRIDGERTON, VSQ delights audiences with hits from the Emmy-nominated Regency-era hit drama.
From Billie Eilish to Björk and Maroon 5 to Nirvana, VSQ breathes new life into each rendition, effortlessly topping the Billboard Classical and Classical Crossover charts. The ensemble has “reached a mainstream, global audience,” hailed Variety. To date, VSQ's recordings have garnered more than 1.5 billion streams and seven of the group's albums have landed on the Billboard charts, peaking at No. 4 in both Classical and Classical Crossover.
The album VSQ Performs Lana Del Rey was nominated for the 2021 Libera Award for “Best Classical Record.”
VSQ’s music has appeared in Netflix’s Bridgerton, HBO’s Westworld, Showtime’s Shameless, and ABC’s Modern Family. The quartet also appeared in Gossip Girl.
Based in Los Angeles, VSQ features a rotating cast of musicians and producers who frequently collaborate with talents such as ThatViolaKid, Simply Three, the Dutch Domino Team, and DoodleChaos.
