Blood, Sweat & Tears Fires Up the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts With Special Guest Jeff Coffey on Wed., April 15, at 7:30 PM
CERRITOS, CA – It’s shaping up to be a hoppin’ night with Blood, Sweat & Tears shaking up the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) with special guest Jeff Coffey. Don’t miss the exciting lineup on Wednesday, April 15, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $48 and can be purchased on cerritoscenter.com.
When it was first founded, BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS was called “the best thing to happen in rock and roll” by Rolling Stone magazine. Nominated for 10 Grammys, the band took home three, including for its self-titled record, which won “Album of the Year” and produced the three Top Five singles You’ve Made Me So Very Happy, And When I Die, and Spinning Wheel. The first ensemble to use a horn section fused with Rock, Jazz, and Blues, BS&T’s notable notches in history include performing at Woodstock in 1969 to becoming the first group to tour behind the former Iron Curtain in Woodstock 2019.
Joining BS&T is JEFF COFFEY, the lead tenor vocalist and bassist for the multi-Platinum-selling Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group Chicago who has shared the stage with icons Earth Wind and Fire, The Doobie Brothers, and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Don Felder (formerly of The Eagles). Coffey “brought new life to the Chicago ‘classics,’” declared the Mississippi Sun Herald. The Houston Press agreed: Coffey “sang clearly, powerfully and with real conviction.” Coffey’s albums include Long Way Home, Origins, and the latest This Time Around.
